Summer update

Just thought I would post a quick update, as I have been up to the springs two to three times per week for the last few months. The springs for the most part have been respected by most soakers. I have had to clean up remnants from a few fires and pick up after a few late night parties (the springs are OFF limits at night and NO fires are allowed). The springs are back at peak temperatures. Thank you very much to those of you who pick up after yourselves, and a warm hello to those of you who I have met.

  2. Hi Matt,
My husband and I would like permission to visit the hot springs this Saturday. We have never been there before and would be so thankful for the opportunity.
We will leave it far better than we find it, picking up any trash along the way and packing it out. Our friend Michelle may be joining us. Thank you for the blog site. I hope all who seek to experience the land and waters do so with respect and enlightenment. I wish you swift healing and peace!
    Best,
    Jena D. Hennessey

  3. We were just up there the other day. Looks like a lot of fire activity.
We had a great soak and picked up micro trash we saw around.
We used to go there in the 90's and it was great to go back up.

  4. A friend took me to these hot springs back in the 90s when I was up visiting Seattle. Now I live in the area and am interested in taking my wife for a visit. I was saddened to read about the destruction of the pools in 2001. It seems, however, that the spirit of the enjoyers has largely restored the site. What is the process for requesting access and use. We would like to come up for one afternoon/evening at the end of the month (July 09). Thanks.

  6. Hello,

I'd like to make a day hike to the springs with my family.
We love nature and hiking and we will of course pack everything with us and make sure we leave NOTHING behind us. We sincerely understand how important it is to preserve nature's beauty.
Please email me at aleblois@yahoo.fr if you get this message (the bang... email does not work.).
    Thanks,
    Arthur

  8. The tarp has been cut yet again. Is there one person cutting the hoses and tarps? Time will tell if this gets repaired before someone takes it upon themselves to fix it before we can. People, dont 'fix' something that isnt yours.

  10. An alternate contact is 'bobinevrt@hotmail.com', I have the time to respond. Rick has been doing a fantastic job, but his health is in question, its all one day at a time, for all of us.
